Re: enable postfix spf checks

Ah a package conflict. I'll need to make a custom package for eFa you can use so that it doesn't conflict. Which version of eFa are you using?

Re: Email from exchange server split to individual email

When I send an email to multiple recipients I am not seeing this behaviour. Here's a screenshot of an email I sent with two recipients.

Re: Lipkowski Says Hello

eFa 4 users on 7 will need to move to 8 or consider eFa 5 on 9. eFa 4 on CentOS 7 will no longer be maintained. eFa 5 should work on any Red Hat Linux 9 compatible distribution. You don't have to use CentOS 9 Stream. You could opt for Rocky, AlmaLinux, Oracle, or even Red Hat. CentOS 9 Stream tracks...

Re: HowTo test EFAv5

Mine shows the same. I have a few of the warnings in my log as well but they are old.

Do you have a client you can connect to ssh from that you don't mind getting blocked that you can test your fail2ban?

Re: HowTo test EFAv5

iptables is disabled on EL9 derivatives by default... My firewalld is showing things getting blocked by fail2ban. Keep in mind that just because there is an entry in the sqlite3 database it may not be active in the firewall ruleset because the entries do expire. I have a long list of IPs in the jail...

Re: HowTo test EFAv5

Just did an install on Alma 9 that went fine. I enabled it as an outbound relay, and sending went fine. Incoming does not work. I only created a single account, and email is rejected when I replied to the message from that account. The maillog messge is: 450 4.1.1 <...> Recipient address rejected: ...

4GB is insufficient. clamd plus all the signatures require a lot of memory, which is why we recommend 8GB.

Re: Mulriple eFa servers one bayes database

I'm still not clear on who you are executing as...

Does the bayes report show when you execute this:

Code: Select all

sudo su - postfix -s /bin/bash -c "spamassassin -D -t < /var/spool/MailScanner/quarantine/20240523/nonspam/OneOfTheIds"

Re: Mulriple eFa servers one bayes database

When you ran as postfix, did you see any bayes in the score report?

Re: Mulriple eFa servers one bayes database

Do you see the bayes probability in the spam report prior to making this change?

Try running your spamassassin debug test as postfix and see what happens:

sudo su - postfix -s /bin/bash -c "spamassassin -D -t < /var/spool/MailScanner/quarantine/20240523/nonspam/OneOfTheIds"

Re: HowTo test EFAv5

Hello! This is not an issue. This directory is on a temp filesystem which is why the discrepancy. The eFa SELinux ruleset already handles it accordingly.

Well, I think you found the problem table  Let's put a limit on it and try running it multiple times instead: DELETE FROM mtalog WHERE timestamp < (NOW() - INTERVAL 14 DAY) LIMIT 100000; You may need to play with the limit number to make it smaller if it is still timing out, or bigger if it isn...
