Hi All,
We are running an EFA MailScanner (MailScanner v1.2.7-dev running on EFA-3.0.2.6) that receives all our email and forwards it on to our internal Exchange (Hybrid) server, which in turn sends the email on to Office 365.
The problem is that Office 365 does it's own SPF checks when it receives the email and it always flags our EFA as the last sending server, so the SPF fails:
Received-SPF: SoftFail (protection.outlook.com: domain of transitioning *********.com discourages use of ?.?.?.? as permitted sender)
Where ?.?.?.? is our external IP and *********.com is the senders domain name
Anyone any idea how we stop this and allow O365's SPF to check the actual last sending server?
Thanks
Dave

Re: EFA and Office 365 hybrid
I am not versed with O365, but there should be a way to tell O365 to ignore SPF from emails coming to your Exchange and trust it without performing those checks.
Alternatively, you may send to O365 and have it deliver to your Exchange so that it can pass SPF.

Re: EFA and Office 365 hybrid
I was unaware that you can turn the SPF check off in O365.
Alternatively does the EFA support SRS (Sender Rewriting Scheme)?

Re: EFA and Office 365 hybrid
make sure to add your EFA IP to office 365 server like this EFA will not be scanned.
we have this already set up in a production for one of our customer.

Re: EFA and Office 365 hybrid
I have been also used the EFA MailScanner that receives all our email and forwards it on to our internal Exchange (Hybrid) server, which in turn sends the email on to Office 365, but I have been facing a problem after I reinstalled my office 365 from microsoft office 365 download page and then it gives some error code 01x00fx. If anyone know how to fix this issue then suggest to me.
