Question:

I just noticed that by default, the spamassassin daemon is set to "off" for all the runlevels.

Is this correct? Is the spamassassin daemon not supposed to be running, but is invoked message by message basis?

Can someone run a "chkconfig --list spamassassin" command and tell me what results they get?

I've very curious now.

[root@spammy log]# chkconfig --list spamassassin I'm using the latest E.F.A. version
