messages not delivered

On latest EFA version.
Some message from a certain domain (which is by the way on EFA's whitelist) are not being delivered:
IN mail var log error message is:
Recipient address rejected: Throttling too many connections from new source

We have tried to fix it with this solution (viewtopic.php?t=1513):
adding smtpd_client_connection_rate_limit = 0 to /etc/postfix/main.cf

but that didnt help so please advise us more.
