LDAP Active Directory @ Symbol Display Name

Post by Graham »

Hi,

let me start by saying great product. I have been playing with the LDAP integration with Active Directory.
When I run /usr/local/bin/mailwatch/tools/Cron_jobs/mailwatch_ldap_sync.sh it fails with Unknown command '\@' due to the display name having the @ symbol in it. Unfortunately due to the nature of our display names, I can't change this.

I did some further testing and by using different org units I could import most of the users, but then when they try to login it fails with this error: Could not search

From what I can all of this relates to the @ symbol in the display name as I created a duplicate set up where the display name does not have the @ symbol.

Can you suggest what I can check in these files to overcome this problem:
/usr/local/bin/mailwatch/tools/Cron_jobs/mailwatch_ldap_sync.sh
/var/www/html/mailscanner/conf.php
/var/www/html/mailscanner/functions.php

Am using the latest build

Thanks
