New TLD's + spam

Post by mike0815 »

My Greylisting almost blocks them but I am searching for a more efficient way to get rid of those spammers – most of them are operating under the radar so their IP’s are not listed in common DNSBL Lists

Thank you

Probably need another TLD update for Spamassassin.

I am thinking about setting up a cron to update this.

More info and how to manually update is here:

Hm,

a look at my /usr/local/share/perl5/Mail/SpamAssassin/Util/RegistrarBoundaries.pm says 'top' is already in the list...

thinking about to build own local or shared ip reputation list ...

like https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/spamas ... l_tests.cf

ic, they are simply not showing up in the DNSBL lists.

Looking around the net this seems to be a pretty big issue. Who thought that all these new TLDs was a good idea? ... oh ... yea .. nvm ....

Short term, maybe it needs a spamassassin to increase the spam score if the TLD is not a country or one of the three original TLD's?
