Hi,
need someone to help me troubleshoot. Today I discovered 100 messages in my inbound queue, and realised that my EFA had not been delivering messages for the past 6 hours. I proceed to increase the number of children for Mailscanner from 2 to 10, and did a reboot. After that, messages start to flow.
When I look at the status now, my system indicated it has proceed 100k of message, and I only got about 34 messages delivered to my server.
Any idea what could be wrong? Was I 'hacked"? or any form of DDOS?
Thanks

Re: inbound queue & number of Mailscanner children
Chances are that MailScanner crashed due to lack of memory trying to process all of the messages.
Increasing the number of children will actually make the problem much worse. You should have no more than 2 children per virtual processor.
You should reduce your children, shut down your VM, and instead give the EFA more memory (such as 4GB instead of 2GB of memory)
