In maillog I could see:
Mail watch: SQLSpamsettings:: unable to initialise database connection: Access denied for user 'mailwatch'@'localhost' (using password:YES)
In Mailwatch webgui I do not see messages which has sent under the quarantine day even that they were sent and visible at the related path.
Any help is welcome as I am sticking with a broken eFa v4 production box which do not trust our internal mailserver since a few days.
(only after reboot messages are flowing for 30 minutes)
So I want to switch to the new system, but could not due to the problem mentioned above.
I have not set any passwords for the configuration files mentioned unter /etc/eFa.
Maybe due to the switch from testing towards release repo something has been changed?

Re: On new eFa v5 Mail watch SQL error
What version of eFa 5 are you running? Are you on v5.0.0-8 ?
Re: On new eFa v5 Mail watch SQL error
Yes, I am on the latest available version. I have started with the beta, I think it was 5.0.04 or 5.0.05. Then switched to the release repo.

Please try this:
Code: Select all
curl -L -o update.sh https://raw.githubusercontent.com/E-F-A/eFa5/main/rpmbuild/SOURCES/eFa-5.0.0/updates/update.sh
sudo bash update.sh
Re: On new eFa v5 Mail watch SQL error
I will report asap, as I am at Lanzarote island without access to my computer.
Re: On new eFa v5 Mail watch SQL error
I could confirm that the problem has not shown up again after applying the update.sh.
Next weekend I will change the mail flow from our eFa v4 box to the new setup as a final test.
Update 08.07.2024:
eFa v5.0.0.8 is now in production and is running fine as expected since yesterday.
