ADD Barracuda or other RBLS

Post by mshanley »

How to we add Barracuda or other RBLS to this system?
Where is the best place?
If there are multiple places for RBL's then I would like to make it perm also.
Can the weights be adjusted or is it just a hit or miss?

Sorry new user here :)

smtpd_client_restrictions = permit_sasl_authenticated, reject_rbl_client b.barracudacentral.org <-- add this to postfix config file or is there a better way?

Postfix is the best way. Less overhead and processing has to be done this way.

I know this is getting to be an older post but when I came across it some questions were raised. Please bear with me as I'm not well versed in Linux but I'm learning. So where do you edit the configuration file mentioned? Can it be done though Webmin? -Shawniversion- mentioned do this in Postfix, where? Again Webmin or what?

Thanks.

Hello Richard,

Yes, you can use webmin

Servers --> Postfix Mail Server --> SMTP Client Restrictions

;)

You should see spamhaus listed. You can add more here, comma separated.
