Solved my own problem.
Turns out when I tried using Let's Encrypt earlier, it changed TLS settings for SMTP Authentication And Encryption for postfix.
I found the settings in Webmin:

When I pointed the files away from the letsencrypt folder and back to my real certificates, Gmail ...

I am having this exact problem with my upgraded E.F.A. now running 3.0.2.6.
HELP!!

The response from the remote server was:
454 4.7.0 TLS not available due to local problem

is the message people from outside our company are getting back in Gmail eventually (after like 48 hours).

Please tell me ...

Since I hate log files :roll: , I did the 2nd step, Disabled Modsecurity . I then set LDAP to true & both local and AD accounts now work, thank you! :D

I'd been using EFA for a couple of years now successfully upgrading and using Active Directory for authentication in MailWatch to view quarantined emails, release them, etc.

Well the last upgrade crashed out to the point I decided to download and install from scratch the latest VMware OVA of eFa to ...

OK, I know this makes no sense at all.
I added a new vNIC to the EFA VM, hadn't even setup a static IP (there is no DHCP on the subnet for the portgroup I chose).
I ran:
sudo /usr/local/sbin/EFA-Configure
Choose option 14) Update Now

And it all worked... I am now running 3.0.1.4!

Go figure. BTW ...

OK, so today I tried the command again. Sorry fro the long output paste, but I wanted you to have all the detail needed to help figure out what's going one.
Now, it appears to me that there is an error related to IPv6 which is disabled in our EFA. Do we need IPv6?

Yes, we have an Untangle firewall appliance on the edge between the internet & the EFA appliance.

I apparently am at 3.0.1.1 as I have had Auto Update enabled.

I actually had done what colin mentioned and changed the code to:

and my AD integration is working again.

All, I was wondering if anyone else was having this problem.

AD integration & authentication was working great in 3.0.0.8 & 3.0.0.9.
After upgrading to 3.0.1.0, no user from AD can authenticate to the MailWatch login page.

We upgraded on Sunday to 3.0.0.9 with no issues other than the obvious switch to https from http.

But now, when users click on the link "Click here to report this message as spam."

Well I figured out the problem I had with the script bombing out was because I had an email account with an apostrophe in it, once I removed it, all the user accounts populated in the EFA User Management database.
