Is it possible to edit the EFA signature files as i have tried several time to edit some files in /etc/MailScanner/reports/en/ i read a post here somewhere that was the way to change them might be outdated now?
As they always seem to get clobbered by something and return to their original content

Yes, that is where the signature files are.

I am not sure what you mean by get clobbered....MailScanner has not been updated from its original release....

Sorry to waste everyones time i was using sed to do bulk replacement and it was not using the sed command correctly ... so it was me who was clobbering things NOT EFA thanks again for your help
