Hi there,
I have a Centos 8 server running 4.0.4 and I want to move everything to another server running Centos 8 stream. I tried several times doing a clean install on the new server and restore a backup from the old server, but every time it ends in missing files, errors or even an unresponsive server. So I am falling back to a manual restore by copying files from the old server to the new server.
Is there a list with minimum files which have to be copied over? And which OS is better? Centos 8 stream or Rocky linux 8 or 9?
Thanks,
Roger
