Using eFa as Email Gateway between Client and Server

Post by tobelger »

Hi eFa-Community,
we are a small Company in Germany and currently we dont have a own Mailserver. The Emailservice of our Company is made available by our ISP as a Part of our Domainpackage.
Now we need to archive all incoming an outgoing Mails because of GoBD. Because Spamfilter, Virusprotection and also Archive are expensive bonuspackages by our ISP, we want to host eFa by ourself if possible.
Is it possible to configure eFa as Gatewayserver between Client(like Outlook or Thunderbird) and Emailserver (made available by ISP)? To archive Emails we are using currently an nginxs Emailproxy wich do a catchall to our Mailpillerarchive.

Now the Email is configured as followed:

Outlook IMAP --> Nginx Proxy --> Emailserver
**************************|
**************************| send all mails bcc
**************************V
**********************Mailpiller

I want to replace the Nginx Mailproxy by eFa.
