EFA is awesome indeed. Most windows admins will have a steep learning curve to be a Linux admin, as experience comes after you need it

As I understand your question, your problem is DNS configuration.

Usefull tip from a former windows admin:

install mc ( yum install mc) and even better: get used to vi.

I really do need a step by step on this one if anyone can assist I am absolutely lost
