The server doesn't accept recipient@domain.com

Hi,
Been struggling with this for a couple of hours, what am I doing wrong? This is the plan:
Installed EFA on CentOS 6.9, updated it all and setup one domain. On this domain I also have my own mailserver (on another server). Now I've changed the MX records to:
MX 10 efa-mailfilter.mydomain.com
MX 20 mymailserver.mydomain.com
All mail towards my domain seem to be going via EFA. Hooray. But now I want to send emails from my domain. This doesn't work. I get the error that the server doesn't accept either the sender or the recipient. I don't understand this since the mailaccounts are created on mymailserver.mydomain.com. IMAP and SMTP server are mymailserver.mydomain.com. So why would it try to send via EFA (I'm guessing that is why I'm getting the error)?
My outgoing mail from my clients should just go via mymailserver.mydomain.com and not efa-mailfilter.mydomain.com.
What am I doing wrong / how to solve this?
