Cannot login to Webmin

This is an EFA setup on which I have never used webmin before. I just tried logging in with root and the user created during setup and none work but I know the credentials are right because I verified them on the console. Webmin keeps giving me: login denied.

Am I supposed to change my login details via ssh and try again or is there some misconfiguration or setup missing to be able to use webmin?

The username/password I use for webadmin is root/<efa root password>.

If you can log into to the root account via ssh, then you shouldn't have a problem with webadmin.

Thanks for confirming. Found the problem: it was sitting at the keyboard
I had mixed up the user/root passwords
