BTW, I just wanted to share that this post saved my life:

I tried everything short of manually deleting thousands of emails.
I flushed with 50 different commands. Rebooted, restarted services. I worked at it for hours.
I just happened to see this error pop up in the maillog after a flush and looked it up.
Deleted that one file and after almost 5 hours of searching, all my mail went thru.
