just note that i do want it to be scan for spam. i just want to allow EFA to process the message.

Right now, if i would test the EFA by trying to submit a message i get following error.

Error: SMTP protocol error. 450 4.7.1 Client host rejected: cannot find your reverse hostname,

My end Goal since this is going to be my internal SMTP relay server. i would like to only allow certain ip address to be able to submit messages. is there an easy way to do this using the EFA Configuration options.

Let me know.

was that smtp error from efa? if so, set up a reverse dns lookup for the sending host, or add the host to trusted networks under efa (i guess), or configure efa/ not to require RDNS checks for internal hosts.

i don't recall having to do this on my installation, so i'm surprised you need to do it on yours.

as for restricting who can connect to efa, then you need to configure the firewall, and that's a fairly complex answer in itself as it depends on your network card and network configuration
