MailScanner reports - Non UTF8 character in variables

Hello,

I have some trouble to display a output for accented characters in my reports :


Line 1 : The message is not a Spam and accented characters are shown
Line 2 : The message is a Spam, EFA send a reports with "?" instead of accented characters
Line 3 : The recevied message is a Spam, with accented characters (with no problems of display)



More details :

In the recipient.spam.report.txt sent to users have no trouble to display accented characters of the mail, but only accented characters which are in the variable $object



I made a lot of search on google but i didnt found the answser
My version of EFA is 3.0.1.8

I don't have any clues on it, cloud you give me some advices ?

These are known issues in the MailWatch project. They are busy making improvements with utf8 and utf8mb4 charactersets.

While waiting the fix, do you know if their is a way to change charactersets before creating the report?

for exemple : replace "é" by "e"
