Hi All

As new DPA laws are being pushed out, are the DEVs looking into this and possibly adding the necessary features like detecting credit card numbers?

I dont want to have to change to a paid filter as i've used EFA/ESVA since the early years

interesting, do you have any links to these new laws you are mentioning?

If you send creditcard information by plain unencrypted mail then there is something really wrong with your 'way of working' and you should spend all your time on fixing your security issues there.

So no, I don't expect any modifications in eFa for this.

You can detect credit card numbers using Spamassassin custom rules looking for these number patterns, and then decide what to do to prevent data exfiltration.
