Empty subject when icon in subject

Recently I noticed that the MailScanner status page shows an empty subject when there is an icon in the subject.
When I look at the mail-details the subject line is empty, however the header info shows the subject.
The text 'FR' (which is one position, so not the two letters) is the representation of the icon.
How can I have the subject shown (with or without the icon) on the status-page?
