Show mails blocked by greylisting in mail list

Hi All,

We are new to efa and recently started to test efa for some of our customers.
We have now encountered the problem that mails that got blocked by sqlgrey are nowhere shown in the list of mails and statistic.

Greylisting is very effective and blocks a lot of spam, but the list of spam is now very empty compared to our old system (which was much less effective) and our customers will think that they do not even receive that much spam and do not need our service anymore.

So is there a way to show the blocked mails in the list of mails (of course we know that it is not possible to show the content)?

Hope there is a solution to this as I do not really want to disable greylisting.

Best regards

Interesting question.

Looking through my logs (mature server, greylisting databases already populated), I cannot find any recent entries showing greylisted connection attempts. Either the servers sending me mail are already known to me, or the spamming servers are getting stopped by postfix even before sqlgrey has a chance to delay the mail delivery.

Where I am seeing the most effect is with postfix denying connection attempts. Of all the attempts, about 75%(?) of them are denied. Of the remaining, I've only had 2 attempts greylisted (all the other servers are known to me).

Greylisting only helps prevent new spammers from sending their junk into your system. I think what is needed is a better way to get the postfix stats out of the postfix log files.
