Web interface port number change

Post by Mad3813 »

Hi there,

I need a little assistance please.

My scenario is this, I have an exchange 2010 server behind a Cisco ASA5505 Security appliance, I have deployed EFA as a VMWare appliance with no real issues so far, which sits between the ASA and the exchange server and catches mail, processes it and then chucks it at the exchange server, seems to work ok).

I also have a web server behind the ASA. The Webserver is listening on port 80, so I need to set the EFA appliance to listen to incoming web requests on port 6666 (for want of a better port number) and then forward that to 443 (which is enabled in Apache settings).

I have found various articles on how to change the various automated emails to have a link to a cusomt url and port number, but I can;t figure out how to change the listening port for EFA/Mailwatch.

It would also be safe to assume that as I am a Microsoft certified technician that I have very very very little knowledge of witchcraft (linux/unix etc etc)

Thanks for any help, much appreciated.
