throttling To many connections

Hello
I just set up EFA as a second layer spam filter, since we are not happy with our first layer commercial spam system.
Initially all the email was being differed because of volume from the up stream host. so I white listed the up stream host and all the domains.
now nothing is being spam checked.
how do i add a server to be exempt throttling, but not white listed from everything
thank you

hi

i would't whitelist the up stream host, no mail would be checked.
white listed [...] all the domains
your domains, or from 3rd party?

I agree
That is what i am trying to fix but i don't want the connections to be throttled.
is there a way to disable throttling for one IP address across all domains?

I can't find the post right now, but pdwalker had a similar issue and posted his results to this forum...

areid, can you post the log messages showing the "throttling". That might refresh my memory and help me locate the problem.

I've found the following posts that may be relevant:

[solved] can I avoid the greylist by incoming network ip?
viewtopic.php?f=5&t=989&p=3142#p3142

edit: I can only find one thing above that might be relevant.

this problem seems to have resolved it self.
I removed the white listing of the upstream server and the system seems to not have an issues with the flow rate anymore
Thank you for taking the time to look at this for me
Alex
