I'm having trouble with the update, throwing this error:

Error: Cannot retrieve metalink for repository: epel. Please verify its path and try again
Update to Version 3.0.0.9 FAILED. Updates cancelled.
Please visit http://www.efa-project.org for more information.
sendmail: fatal: root(0): No recipient addresses found in message header

Rebooting shows SQLGrey failing to start - didn't catch the error on boot, but restarting sqlgrey service gives this:
Starting SQLgrey: Can't locate Net/Server/Multiplex.pm in @INC (@INC contains: /usr/local/lib64/perl5 /usr/local/share/perl5 /usr/lib64/perl5/vendor_perl /usr/share/perl5/vendor_perl /usr/lib64/perl5 /usr/share/perl5 .) at /usr/sbin/sqlgrey line 33.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at /usr/sbin/sqlgrey line 33.

The EFA menu has option 14 for Updating so parts have updated, but at this point no email comes in (presumably because SQLGrey isn't running).

I've previously installed 3.00.8 and updated to 3.0.0.9 on another machine using the same process so not sure what's gone wrong. Also, rebuilt from initial VM appliance and got the same result. Rolling back the snapshot for now, but would appreciate any guidance.

Can you resolve mirrors.fedoraproject.org from this host?

No, it doesn't resolve (DNS recursion on). Set DNS temporarily to Google DNS and resolved but the update failed.

Edit to add: tested some other external hosts that do resolve on DNS recursion

The host is at my office in a managed building, although we have all ports forwarded to our in-office router, I guess then that the building's network is interfering. I'll bring the machine home at the weekend and try from my own network.

I'll update here with results once I've done that.
