Code: Select all

Report:	MailScanner: A long gap in a name is often used to hide part of it (Order 7654321 -10.01.2014-12345678.pdf)
Does anyone see a long gap?

Just two spaces are a log gap? :shifty:

EDIT
/etc/MailScanner/filename.rules.com

Code: Select all

# Deny filenames with lots of contiguous white space in them.
deny	\s{10,} Filename contains lots of white space A long gap in a name is often used to hide part of it
10=10 Spaces?

MailScanner doesn't show 10 Spaces in my browser.

That is odd, I don't see why that rule would fire off on that...

searching for the thread title gives me (last post)
http://forum.mailcleaner.org/viewtopic. ... 1544#p6375

I don't have any log which contains the info.
The mail comes from a SAP system, so the problem will return.
I hope increasing the value will do the trick.
