number of recipients

Odd issue, maybe there is someone who has experienced this before. I have a sender that likes to send and HTML email (mimecast large file attachment stuff) to over 100 recipients. For some reason, the headers get truncated when delivered to my MTA. I thought the problem may be with MTA, But a cool feature in EFA is releasing emails to alternate addresses. So I dig in there and send it to my gmail to test. Same result though, headers cut off and HTML is garbled as a result. But, If that same sender sends to one address, everything works fine. Any ideas?

more on this. I found that the headers contain a carriage return in the to: addresses. This causes the body of the email to garble from mimecast. (html email Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable ) I can't figure out why its happening sometimes and not all the time.
