Exchange MX record: 140.239.249.x pointing to SonicWall FW.

Natting:
Exchange private IP: 192.168.10.6 (port 25 open)
EFA private IP: 192.168.10.10 (port 25 open)

1. on the FW, I made 140.239.249.x point to EFA (192.168.10.10), forwarding port 25
2. added my three domains to EFA

Results:
- internal email flows through exchange with no problem
- external mail neither reaches Exchange nor is it logged on EFA.

Your suggestions are appreciated ...

the first problem you need to solve is why your efa box is not receiving mail.

are you sure the firewall is configured correctly?

can you telnet to port 25 on your public IP address from an external ip and get an smtp prompt from the efa box?

answer these questions first and we'll see what we can do.
