1. Is it possible to do a pop email fetch? I used to use a Baracudda SPAM100 with remote email; so it would fetch my pop email for me, filter it, and drop it into my exchange server

2. Is there a way to change the hostname in the release email link? I don't allow direct access to 80, so I need it to read 8084 for example

1) EFA uses postfix and relies on SMTP. IMAP and POP protocols are not present, although add-on software, such as dovecot, might be able to do what you are seeking.

2) Yes. You will need to add an exception to iptables and modify the link by appending the port in /etc/mailscanner/reports/en for the signatures.
