I've noticed that 3.0.1.8 has some performance issues. I upgrade about a week ago and since then i've seen a lot of situations where SpamAssassin is timing out. Once it happens 20 times, the mail is let through, even though it's spam. I can't put my finger on what causing the timeouts but it happened just after upgrading to 3.0.1.8. It could also be environmental since we had a DNS change at that point, but that doesn't seem to be it.
For now, changing the SpamAssassin timeout in /etc/MailScanner/MailScanner.conf from 75 seconds up to 220 seems to have solved it, but I'm wondering if anyone else has seen an issue like this.

f you run the SpamAssassin Lint (Test) under Tools and Links do you have items that are highlighted in yellow or red?121mhz wrote: 10 Mar 2017 01:35 I've noticed that 3.0.1.8 has some performance issues.
