3.0.0.9 - Munin Performance

Post by henk »

For those who have performance issues with Munin.

See : https://www.jethrocarr.com/2012/05/26/m ... rformance/

Bottom line: add to /etc/fstab

tmpfs /var/www/html/munin tmpfs rw,mode=755,uid=munin,gid=munin,size=300M 0 0

Not sure how to perform housekeeping jobs on Munin yet.

Since I use xymon to monitor systems, I still need to decide if I also want Munin running, alltough it's a great tool

I have absolutely no need for munin, what would be the best option to completely disable it?
Or should I use yum and uninstall it?
