Emails stuck in EFA

I have an issue where emails stopped flowing from EFA to our Exchange 2010 server. I have switched to a different type of unit and it is working fine but I cannot get the emails that were going to the EFA during that time to sync to the exchange server. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated as this is very time sensitive problem.

Also I have already rebooted both servers and there were no changes made before the issue started occurring.

have you checked the log files to see if there are any obvious errors?
