Do not "hold" low level spam

Post by awt »

Could find and obvious hit in the forum (apologies if I have missed it).

Is there any way to turn of the "{Spam not delivered}" option so that low level spam is automatically sent to the user?

With the older spam filter system my company had in place, a lot more spam reached the users. Because of this, they have taken the time to train their Outlook/Exchange profiles for filtering spam and false positives. The EFA systems is now causing them some frustration that e-mails they would normally receive on time are being held up. I have now had a number of requests for this option to be turned off and for all low level spam (+5 and below) to not be quarantined.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Yes, take a look at the Spam and Non Spam options in EFA-Configure.

Maybe I'm missing something in the settings. The only two options I receive in the spam settings are:

1. "Spam Delivery and Retention Settings" which I understood to be either quarantine or deliver ALL spam.
2. "Spam Notification Settings" - Allow users to release or not release low scoring spam.

In the non-spam settings it is basically
1. Store a copy of non spam in quarantine (or not)
2. Append the non-spam signature (or not)

What I am looking to do is to deliver all low scoring spam (marked in pink on the MailWatch messages list) and quarantine all higher scoring spam with no notification to the user. Unless I have misinterpreted the options in the spam settings, I could not see a way to do this.

No...

9) Spam Settings --> 2) Spam Settings --> Yes Enable

This applies to regular spam, not high spam. High spam is always quarantined.
