Hi All,
Does anyone have a problem with slow white/black lists processing after adding a new entry? I noticed on my system I have to wait for hours before the new address is finally recognised as blacklisted/whitelisted...
E.g. there is a spam attack from the same address (say e.billing@dhl.com) - some of these emails are recognised as spam, but out of 1000 there will be a few that get through. So I blacklist this address and EFA continues to allow them, only after an hour or so it finally marks it as blacklisted..
Any advice?

Code: Select all
sudo service MailScanner restart
Going to see about a feature request for MailWatch to do this automatically...

Hi!
Yes when it restarts all whitelists and blacklists are updated immediately... It's just a bit inconvenient to restart every time I need it! Thought it would indeed be useful if EFA could apply changes to whitelist/blacklist immediately.
Other than that - EFA is a star product! I have been using it in production (500+ mailboxes) and it is bloody great!
