Hi there i've noticed that my /var disk space is becoming critical. I see that the quarantine folders are stored on here and i'm hitting about 1.2 - 1.9GB per day. I've read that the quarantine is cleared down every 30 days but disk will be full before then. Not quite sure what i should do...
a) Manually clear some files out of the quarantine folder (this is what i'm doing at the moment - manually deleting some older days quarantine but i'm worried this will cause problems as they still seem to show on the Quarantine page on the web interface)
b) Can i change the period from 30 days for clearing old quarantine items?
c) Can i make the /var disk bigger?
Would appreciate some tips!
Regards
James Wilson

Re: var disk space
a) Doing this will put your database and filesystem out of sync temporarily, since MailScanner will think that messages are still present that are actually deleted.
b) Yes. Look in /var/www/html/mailscanner/conf.php

Re: var disk space
Excellent thanks Shawn - i've changed the quarantine period to 10 days and thats sorted my problem. I think longer term i'll look at changing the disk size to give more space.
