Hi,
Running EFA server latest version... with logwatch.
I always have this warning in my logwatch report mail:
*Warning: Pre-queue content-filter connection overload
How can I fix this?
Thanks,
Paulo Resende

Re: *Warning: Pre-queue content-filter connection overload
I Guess you added mailwatch yourself? (as this is not part of EFA by default)..
But I know the message, this means most likely that there are not enough resources for your EFA appliance.
If you have it available increase the amount of memory and add CPU's, but this will only work if your undelying hardware has enough resources available.
if that is not possible, or your system is running fine then you can also try to disable the message
see the postfix.conf file for logwatch (locate postfix.conf | grep -i logwatch)
there should be an postfix_ConnectionLostOverload option that you can disable.

Re: *Warning: Pre-queue content-filter connection overload
Hi,
I'm running a EFA virtual machine, and I think I have the resources... 1,5Gb out of 4Gb used, and CPU load averages: 0.37 (1 mins) , 0.24 (5 mins) , 0.20 (15 mins)...
I also don't find any *Warning: Pre-queue content-filter connection overload on /var/log/maillog file.
Should I ignore this warnings?
Thank you.

Re: *Warning: Pre-queue content-filter connection overload
If your system is processing good and you don't feel there are any bottlenecks then you can ignore the messages.
