How to enable SPF?

Post by martinwa »

SPF - checking the sender is using the right IP for the domain.
How do I enable that the easy way?

It can be done in, ClavAV, postfix and spamassassin as I can see.

Best regards

Depends on whether you want the emails to show up in your reports...

If you do it in postfix, postfix will block it during the connection phase if it fails SPF check, and you won't get a report in MailScanner.

If you use spamassassin or clam, you can assign a score for SPF checks, and it will show up in MailScanner reports.

Good afternoon, can you tell me how to enable checking spf at the postfix. So that those domains that do not have any spf record discard e-mails
like this one spf=none smtp.mailfrom=inbox.org
