i'm considering EFA as a solution. i'm wondering if it has any type of central quarantine capability if multiple servers were to accept traffic, and each quarantine to the same server for users to pull mail from?
has anyone hit their server with 600,000 + messages / day?
600K msgs / day / centralized quarantine?

Actually, the answer is yes, you could set up multiple EFAs to do this. I recommend browsing through the forums, as I recall at least one individual successfully clustering EFAs together...I'll take a look and see if I can gather some info and post here.
I think with 600K messages/day, you are looking at an average load of 166 messages per minute.
I recommend using 4-6 EFA appliances for this load. 6 EFAs would drop your load to <30 messages per minute, which is much more manageable.

I'm not sure how this person did it, but may be worth PMing this person.
I can set up a test/dev environment to assist.
