Hi,
I'm currently doing some basic tests with eFa v4 .
Doing telnet efav4.domain.com 25 and sending an email to an external email sends an email, however, the received email only contains the data I've sent in the test - it does NOT get the standard disclaimer at the end of the email.
Is this to be expected or do I need to enable the disclaimer in config somewhere?
Thanks,
Richie

Re: eFa v4 - Disclaimer Text Not Showing
This is expected behavior in v4. Adding a disclaimer using eFa is discouraged since it breaks DKIM. It is better for the email server to do this before delivering to eFa, so I am no longer supporting/encouraging it.
However, you can optionally enable it in /etc/MailScanner/MailScanner.conf yourself and edit the /etc/MailScanner/reports files accordingly.

Hi,
Ahh, there's a reason for it.
Ok, I'll not modify the files if it breaks DKIM.
Would have been a nice reassurance for recipients, though.
Thanks,
Richie
