Hello everybody,
I just have some understanding problem and hope that you can help me here.
I am running an efa appliance behind a firewall. This receives the messages and forwards them internally to the mail server.
Now I have the problem that port 25 / 587 is forwarded from the firewall directly to the Efa. Therefore my mail software (let's call it Outlook) can no longer authenticate itself on the mail server.
There's probably some totally simple solution, but I'm standing on the hose (that's what you would call it here in Germany).
Greetings
Michael

Maybe you need to forward 587 to your mail server, if it is handling authenticated requests?
