Hi there,
We do about 100000 e-mails a day. Does anyone have a suggestion for hardware requirements?

Re: hardware requirements
Do you mean 100k delivered clean messages? Or 100k new mails regardless of status?

Re: hardware requirements
At 10-20k messages a day, I run 8 cores 16G of ram and 200G of disk space.
Load average is around 1.
I think I could probably double that and still be fine.
I would highly recommend SSD storage for the db though.

Re: hardware requirements
Currently the machine doing the mailscanning is also the imap/pop server which does 5 consecutive logins per second.
It runs clamav/amavisd/spamd/cyrus/postfix on an average load of 4.
The hardware specs are 8 cores and 16gb of memory.
I will start our dedicated efa with the same specs and see what it brings from there.
thanks for the advice.
