Installing EFA 4 Beta on Hyper-V 2016
I posted this in another thread but thought I would make it easier for people to find.
Download CentOS 7 Minimal ISO
https://www.centos.org/download/
Create a Gen1 VM
2 Cores
1024 Mb RAM
Std network connection
20Gb+ HD, the vhdx file will be less than 2Gb after install
Mount the Centos .ISO to install OS.
Start the VM and from the console -
If you get a prompt "boot:" hit enter and that takes you to the next screen.
The install screen asks to
"Install CentOS 7"
Instead hit "Tab"
This brings up a the string used to configure install
Append this to the end of the string.
inst.ks=http://dl.efa-project.org/build/4/kstesting.cfg
Hit enter and the install will take it from there.
If all goes well at the end you will see…
Performing Post-installation setup tasks
Writing network configuration
Creating Users
Configuring addons
Generating initramfs
Running post-installation scripts.
The VM will then shut down.
At this point Eject the ISO
Start the VM and you will greeted by “Welcome to eFa-4.0.0”
Login and it will ask you to "Start eFa first-time configure"
That’s it!
My Hats Off to the EFA team for all there hard work!

Thanks a lot toddh!
I'm "migrating" from scrolloutf1, as that project seems to be about dead -so I'm really excited to see what eFa can do and how it performs.

Just a reminder to my future self as I'm going to forget this and Google it again.
If you forget to add the script at install and end up with a clean and functional Centos machine.
You can download the cfg and manually install the packages and execute the post install commands as they're defined inside the cfg.
After reboot the normal wizard will start.

Tested and confirmed same procedure works with RC3 on Hyper-V 2016.

Just to confirm (as you might expect) this works fine for VMware environments as well. Thanks!
