Hello

Post by plopperdeplop »

Hello thanks for the effort, I've been using Amavis-New for years, but SPAM is still coming through. MailScanner with Mailwatch (and more) seems to be a good combination. So I'm going to leave Amavis-New and switch over to EFA.

Keep up the good work.

Regards,

Sorry for the "delayed response".

Amavis-New requires a substantial understanding of Perl. With MailScanner configuration files one is able to achieve the same as with Amavis-New, with a more human understandable interface.

Of course it's not my intention of flaming down Amavis-New, because you can achieve the same filter rules with Amavis-New compared to MailScanner.
So which one is better or worse is just about "Which interface do you like Perl or Configuration Files ?". And I like the Configuration Files interface :-)
