2 domains using efa ina weird way

Post by dsheetz »

ok so we have 5 domains in exchange server but only 1 domain for user authentication (Active Directory)

How can 1 user login and see email for both email accounts? He has 2 user accounts in Active Directory because he has to keep them separate legally.

The first domain his logon name matches his email address
the 2nd logon is similar but has added characters and a different email address from his logon name

EXAMPLE:
email1 is:john@domain1.com
logon is: john @domain1.com

email2 is : john@domain2.com
logon 2 account is: johnabcd@domain1.com

help any ideas are appreciated for the best way to do this...trying to avoid creating a separate domain controller for it.

You will add a filter to his primary account under user management in EFA. The user in theory should then receive a combined filter report for the main account (the one they sign into EFA with), and any other aliases that have been added to his account in EFA. Same holds true if he signs into the GUI, and not just the daily report.
