Configure Integrated Packages/MTA?

Post by JoshWithrow »

Do we need to configure the MTA or underlying packages at all via console? Besides the "Baruwa Config" what needs to be done? We have gateways sitting in front of Exchange and I'm interested in using this instead of what we have.

When booting for the first time the system will ask a few questions for IP settings & user/passwords.
(Still have to make screenshots for that by the way..)

After that only Baruwa needs to be configured (as described here: howto-configurationand the system should be ready to receive and check mails.

Interesting. Which MTA is used? Sendmail, postfix, etc?

Postfix is used as MTA.

I listed the core packages used here: http://www.efa-project.org/about
