Hi. Just wondering if it is safe to upgrade CentOS packages on an EFA system? Or might it break some dependencies?
Thank you for this great project!
is it safe to update CentOS packages?
Re: is it safe to update CentOS packages?
If you know where to put hands if something goes wrong: yes it's safe.
Otherwise wait the official updates that upgrade (aka: run yum update) the underlying os too.

Sorry, that's what I meant. Is it safe to run 'yum update' to upgrade the CentOS packages without fear of breaking EFA?
From your reply, I understand that it _is_ safe.
Thanks.

An example of what could be wrong: postfix upgrade which change the spool dir permission (revert back to postfix user).
In this case the system could not process mail.
If you know how postfix and mailscanner works it's easy: just chmod&chown the right directory.
