EFA Active Directory Integration?

Post by jason331 »

Does EFA support Active Directory integration yet? (for logins and for valid user lookups)

Nevermind, I just saw the announcement.

Any idea when this will be available?

The first few releases will be focusing on effectively fighting spam, I do want to include AD integration but probably in a later release.

(but if someone has the knowledge and time to build it we can always include it in a earlier version)

Upstream has just added Active Directory integration for the branch of Baruwa that you are using - http://bit.ly/VhmK9x May be you can consider using that when you decide to implement.

I haven't used EFA yet, (downloading it now), but our ESVA system downloads valid email addresses using a script. Once of the scripts queries AD and parses them into something postfix understands (or whatever the ESVA mailer is, I forget). I realize this isn't a solution to the web user interface logins.

is there a tutorial for Active Directory integration available for EFA?

For one I would like to know which settings.py file to use; since there are several.
