why is exim4 AND postfix installed? is that supposed to be happening? it looks like exim can be removed, no?

also, you can remove popularity-contest from the next release ;)

Exim is not installed (it was removed by the Postfix installation during build)
it however keeps the config files during postfix installation.

Code: Select all

dpkg -l | grep exim
rc exim4 4.72-6+squeeze2 metapackage to ease Exim MTA (v4) installation
rc exim4-base 4.72-6+squeeze2 support files for all Exim MTA (v4) packages
rc exim4-config 4.72-6+squeeze2 configuration for the Exim MTA (v4)
rc exim4-daemon-light 4.72-6+squeeze2 lightweight Exim MTA (v4) daemon
(status RC) I will remove these in the next update, good point by the way :)

Will also remove popularity-contest.

Whoops. My mistake. I'm so used to purging packages and I forgot you can "remove" packages. :)
