Hi,
I previously added a letsencrypt certificate to mailwatch.
Now, I updated to 3.0.2.5. which has this option built in.
I tried to disable and enable the certificate.
It works fine with mailwatch, but not with webmin.
Should the certificate work with webmin, as well?
Regards,
Andras

Does your hostname or domainname have any uppercase characters in it?

Re: 3.0.2.5 - letsencrypt
Actually, the restart for webmin was not included in the code. You can either reboot the appliance after enabling Let's Encrypt for the fixing of Webmin or run the below
The script will be updated to reflect the webmin service restart, as will the monthly renewal script, in an upcoming release.
Thanks for the report!!
Code: Select all
service webmin restart
Thanks for the report!!

Hi,
(No upercase in hostname.)
The service restart fixed it.
Thank you!

Hi to everyone,
How does this affects a manual installation of letsencrypt on the EFA?
Since I have it manually installed since several releases back.
Regards.

Re: 3.0.2.5 - letsencrypt
You have 2 options
1 - Continue using your self implemented solution, and do not enable the new built-in feature. No impact to your current installs.
2 - Undo your self implemented solution, and enable the new built-in feature.

Re: 3.0.2.5 - letsencrypt
and I'd recommend that you undo and let EFA handle it in the future - as long as you have a backup and are up to the task.
