Hello,
Bit of a newbie question...
I want to configure our EFA to filter outbound mail. We have had a recent spate of being blacklisted. I know I need to look further into this, but can EFA help with outbound filter to possibly reduce the chances of being blacklisted?
We are currently using Exchange mail, I am working on the assumption that I need to direct Exchange to send the email through EFA.
Any advise on doing this?
Using Outbound
Re: Using Outbound
Hi,
you can send the mails through the EFA. You have to edit (Managemant Console) the Exchange server to use EFA as the smarthost, i would think.
Just EFA should be allowed to send mails externaly (https://wiki.efa-project.org/doku.php?id=firewall_ports).
If you use a monitoring tool (like nagios) you could let check the status of dns block lists: https://nohn.net/blog/view/id/checking_ ... and_nagios
